Up for pin-view today are the Jasmine/Rajah pinpics #74537, and the Fab 5 pin which is pinpics #74536.
Jasmine/Rajah
Now, this pin I was excited to see how it turned out as it is the first time we have got a Jasmine pin for pin trading and when I picked it up I was pleasently surprised at how big the pin is, as I wasnt expecting it to be the size it is, and is definatley worth the price tag of £5 for any Aladdin or Princess Jasmine pin collectors out there. The pin is the exact same as pinpics #37614 which is a shame in a way as I thought we got a new design which turns out we didnt BUT on the upside to that is that our pin looks alot better even though it is the same pin. Jasmine's outfit is made with the same sparkly glitter paint job with just makes Jamine stand out alot more from the pin and brings the trader to notice her first rather than her tiger, Rajah, which is also done beautifully and just complements Jasmine and so the pin is complete and perfect.
The pin as a whole is beautiful and is worthy of any collection even as a stand alone pin as it would easily stand out and shine through any corkboard it would be one regardless of what surroounds the pin as even though its a repeat, Disney made this pin alot better and so gets 5/5 from me as its gorgeous.
Fab 5
Now onto the Fab5 pin, this has all the main 5 characters Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Pluto on the pin. Now seeing as we have already gotten a FAB5 pin before now, I wasnt that excited to see this pin if Im being honest BUT looking at pinpics #68048 which was the first FAB5 we got, the new one is a whole lot better in my opinion. Why, you ask..I shall tell you.
Now, the reason why I think this pin is better is that inclusion of the word FAB5 as it seperates all the charcters apart from one another and so each and every one of them stands out on the pin itself but at the same time bringing them together as a group.
Again, Disney used the effect of the glitter paint for FAB5 and it is a wonderful effect and really makes the word POP out of the pin and without the glittered paint I think it wouldnt of stood out as much as it does with it so well done Disney.
BUT, my favourite aspect of the pin is good old Pluto, as he is pin on pin, which just makes him stand out even more than the rest of the pin as he is my favourite of the 5 characters on the pin, makes the pin even better for me.
Overall, both pins are beautiful and will be great additions to any pin collection and are worth the £5 and I hope you all have a Great Christmas and I shall be back with another Pin-View in a few days where I shall be reviewing the UP 3-pin set.
